Purpose
The OSNK United Bridge Academy aims to create a developmental "BRIDGE" (pathway) between our recreational and competitive programs for the aspiring, motivated youth soccer player .
Goal
To provide instructional training for up-and-coming recreational players wanting to learn soccer’s essential technical skills. Ultimately, players learn foundational techniques, build confidence, and feel their passion for the game ignite; spring-boarding them towards future competitive soccer opportunities at OSNKU.

The Bridge Academy is...
... a “clinic-style” training program focused on teaching foot-skills, ball control, and body mechanics. The progressive curriculum utilizes dynamic skill stations and fun small-sided games in a player-friendly environment. The program is geared towards motivated girls and boys ready to train and practice in a structured yet fun setting. The Bridge Academy is not...
... a continuation of our Fall Recreational Program
... a free-play, pick-up soccer league
... a drop-'em off" and "keep-'em busy" after-school activity
Coaching Staff
Our Academy Director is Sunjay Patil. Coach Sunjay has been overseeing the Bridge Academy program for 8+ years.
He is also the head coach for the Girls U12 competitive team and OSNKU Vice President.
He will have both an on and off the field presence this winter.
Our Master Coach is Aaron Auslander. We are excited to have Coach Aaron’s experience as a former ODP coach and current collegiate coach guiding our curriculum and training sessions.
Coach Sunjay and Aaron will have the assistance experienced collegiate and current
high school player/coaches on the field. This blended staff provides a unique energy and vibe to the program.
Coach the Coaches Program
A secondary and important goal of the Bridge Academy is to provide guidance and educational tools for recreational coaches looking to advance their knowledge and experience in the game. Not only does volunteering in the Bridge Academy help support on-field needs, but recreational coaches gain valuable insights that can be utilized in a multitude of ways. Coaches walk away with a wealth of drills, coaching tips, and perspectives that can be used during the spring rec season and/or in a future role as a competitive coach.
The Bridge Academy coaching experience has helped transition countless rec coaches to competitive soccer over the years and is looked at favorably and with great interest when assigning coaches to competitive teams.

Player Eligibility/Registration
U7-U12 Recreational Girls/Boys (DOB 2014-2019)
U6 Recreational Girls/Boys players (2020) (invitation only)
* Player enrollment is on a first-come first-serve basis. In years past, players have been waitlisted once field capacities are reached. *
Players will grouped according to birth-year: U7-U9 (Field TBD) and U10-U12 (Field TBD)
***Please realize that based on enrollment numbers, some U8/U9/U10 players may be placed in a older or younger group to balance on numbers***

Session I
6-week session including technical training and small sided games
Thursday @ 5-6 pm
Training Days include:
November 6th, 13rd, 20th & December 4th, 11th, 18th
Session II
- 7-week session including technical training and small sided games + 1 World Cup Tournament
Training Days include:
January 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th & February 5th, 12th, 26th
World Cup Tournament: March 5th (U7-U9) & March 12th (U9/10-U12)
Fees
Session I Only - $170 (no early bird available)
Session II Only - $225 (no early bird available)
10% off Early Bird Session I + II Bundle Package - $355.50 (deadline October 19th)
Standard Session I + II - $395 (after October 19th)
*A waitlist will go into effect after maximum enrollment is reached*
