2026 Fall Recreational Program
Beginning with the 2026-2027 seasonal year, OSNK United will follow US Youth Soccer and move to a school year calendar age grouping method for all programs. Age group player formation cycle will run from August 1 to July 31 instead of January 1 to December 31. You can view the age group matrix here.
The OSNK United Fall recreational soccer program is open for players age 3 to 16 (born between August 1, 2010 and July 31, 2024). The season starts in September and runs through late October. We offer traditional recreational program with a weeknight practice and game on the weekend. The first weekend of games is Saturday, September 12th. The program is designed to allow players of all levels the ability to participate in an organized team building program while developing soccer skills.
U3-U4 Age Groups: Our "tiny tots" program will meet one weeknight (at the coach's discretion) and on Saturday mornings. The program is specifically designed to allow players to become comfortable with the ball at their feet through games/activities that are enjoyable and entertaining for the children while teaching basic soccer skills.
U5-U6 Age Groups: Our program builds upon the "tiny tots" skills (ball control, foot skills) and introduces passing, movement, and spacing. Teams will meet once a week and will have games on Saturday. Our games will start simple at first but as the season progresses we will add more "rules" into the play (throw-ins, etc...). The coaches and referees in-training will serve as referees during the game play.
U7 and older Age Groups: At these ages we try and teach more advanced ideas of spacing and tactics while continuing to work on basic skills and techniques. These age groups will practice once during the week (at the coach's discretion) and will have games on Saturdays. These games will have referees. Some of these age groups might participate in inter-league games with neighboring town programs.
All practices and games will be held at Wilson Park Fields.
Registration Fees: We encourage players to register early to both save on money and allow for team placement.
