OSNK United Scholarship
Ocean State North Kingstown United is pleased to announce the sponsorship of a senior scholarship. The scholarships is to be awarded to one or more High School seniors.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to High School seniors who desire to further their education through a one year program at a technical or vocational school, two year program leading to a certificate or Associates Degree, or a four year college program. The scholarships must be used solely for the recipient’s college education and expenses.
To qualify as an applicant, you must be a High School senior who has participated in any of the Ocean State Soccer or North Kingstown Soccer Association programs and has been accepted to an accredited college program of higher education. The criteria by which students will be judged are essay, academic achievement and extra-curricular activities including community service.
All seniors who qualify are encouraged to apply for the scholarship. The deadline for application is April 17, 2023. An unbiased selection committee will meet independently to review all applications and make a determination of the scholarship recipients.
