 2022-2023 Winter Bridge Academy

Purpose
Recreational players interested in building soccer skills and transitioning towards competitive soccer opportunities at OSNK United should look no further. This program focuses on teaching up-and-coming players basic foot-skills and fundamental techniques required in passing, receiving, and dribbling.
It is important to realize that the bridge academy is
NOT a continuation of the recreational soccer season but rather a structured, developmental training opportunity centered around learning, growth, and fun. Motivated players are best suited.

Goal
To provide instructional training for players wanting to learn soccer’s essential, foundational techniques including foot-skills, ball control, and body mechanics. Ultimately, players build confidence, skill, and passion for the game; using them as a springboard towards competitive soccer opportunities at OSNK.

Coaching
Our Academy Director is Adam Howarth. Currently, Adam is the Director of the Higher Level LLC Soccer School (a close partner and collaborator with OSNK United). Coach Adam is a former professional soccer player in both England and Finland and previously coached at the prestigious Arsenal Soccer School. Coach Adam will be writing weekly curriculums and helping on-field coaches make the sessions instructive, dynamic, and fun. Training sessions will be lead by coaches from the Higher Level Soccer School with assistance coming from high school level soccer players and Bridge Academy program coordinators.
